Strand TheaterThe biggest show of the summer is back at the Strand Theater (543 Columbia Road, Boston, MA)! ARTiculation takes over the historic Strand Theatre for "One Night Only" vol.2. An evening made up by a collection of the cities most hungry and innovative young artists. The evening is a celebration of the arts as ARTiculation shares the stage with Rappers, Bands, Dancers, Spoken Word artists, Comedians, Actors and everything in between. This event will take place on Friday August 19th from 6-8pm. Doors open at 5:30. ARTiculation promise to give you a night that you will NEVER forget.

First Friday Sound Bath, Aug. 5

SoundOn the 1st Friday of each month, come and bathe in the luxurious experience and profound restoration that comes from the intentional use of rattles, drums, gongs, crystal bowls, voice, and nature sounds. Sound Healing is an art and technology that cleans, repairs and restores the physical, mental, emotional, etheric, and spiritual bodies of the listener using the vibration and frequencies of sounds, tones and rhythms, and silence, selected and sequenced for that purpose. Breathe and bathe as the rhythms and waves of sound carry you to inner dimensions of compassion, peace and healing. This event will take place at the Black Indian Inn38 Bicknell StreetDorchester at 7:30 p.m. (Donation required - Suggestion: $10)

Soul Line Dance Classes Beginner & Intermediate @ the Holland Center, Aug. 3

DanceSoul Line Dance Network is now offering two classes. Get 2 classes free when enrolling in Full 8-week Session on the first day of class on Aug 3. The class meets every Wednesday for 8 weeks. Classes will take place at John P Holland School Community Center85 Olney Street in Dorchester. Must be 21 or older. BCYF Membership required ($40/8-week Session or Drop-Ins $5). Beginners Class: 7 - 7:45 p.m. - for Adults & Seniors interested in learning Soul line dance at a slower pace.
Intermediate Class: 7:45 - 8:25 - for experienced line dancers who can pick up the moves quickly.

Community Outreach Fundraiser, Sep. 10

HCCHelping Communities in Crisis, Inc. (HCC), a non-profit, faith-based, and community-based HIV/AIDS organization, will hold a fundraiser on September 10.
