The Museum of Fine Arts is unveiling their newest addition this Sunday, the Linde Family Wing for Contemporary Art. To celebrate, there will be an open house featuring a variety of activities. The open house will be an all day event - starting at 7 a.m. and ending at 7 p.m., there will be free events, including hands-on art activities, performance art, film, music, and yoga. The wing will feature seven new galleries that explore innovative approaches to contemporary art.

On Saturday, October 1st, Michael Kozuch, a history teacher and Dorchester resident, will be leading a walking tour of the Harrison Square / Clam Point neighborhood. If you would like to join, the tour will begin at 2:30 p.m. Meet at the parking lot behind Dorchester Pottery Building, between Bay Cove - Dorchester Pottery building and the railroad trestle on Victory Road. The area showcases notable 19th century architecture and the industrial history of the neighborhood.
