SwimDown! Fundraiser/Race Event for DotWell Stingrays | May 4

For the past three years, The DotWell Stingrays have competed in the National Black Heritage Swim Meet in Cary, North Carolina, but, despite coming away with a second place prize, the team had struggled to raise enough money to sign up for the competition. To recognize the 10th anniversary of the Heritage Swim Meet, DotWell has organized what will hopefully become an annual fundraising event: The DotWell Stingrays SwimDown! This event, happening on Friday, May 4th at 5PM at the Dorchester House swimming pool (1353 Dorchester Avenue, Dorchester, MA), will pit staff and community members against the Stingrays in a good old fashioned relay race. The event is free and open to the public. For additional information or to make a donation to the team, contact DotWell @ 617.474.1457.
