Communications and Fund Development Intern Opening

Urbal League of Eastern Massachusetts seeks Communications and Fund Development Interns to be part of coordinated Development team raising funds and ULEM awareness while continuing to empower communities . The interns assist with all aspects of ULEM’s communications plans, including generating press releases, managing social media, event planning, and other tasks assigned.

Small Business Community Meeting | September 8th

On September 8th at Roxbury Community College, they, Mass. Dept of Business Developement will be hosting a gathering of Boston's small business community.  The Baker/Polito Administration would like to hear from the small business community on whatit thinks the state can do to help them grow. The Governor is obliged to submit an Economic Development Plan for the entire state.  An important part of the process in formalizing its economic development strategy, has been public outreach. To make certain that each geographical area of the Commonwealth had an opportunity to express their suggestions and concerns

Age Friendly Dorchester | September 10th

On September 10th Mayor Marty Walsh will be hosting a "listening session" for those 50+ to discuss what could better the community or how could the neighborhood be a better place as they become older.

Community Expo | August 22

Join New England United for justice on August 22nd for their 2nd annual community expo expo starting at 12 Noon. There will be plenty of games, give aways and prizes while participants support local businesses in the community.  It's all about supporting each community and the businesses who serve them

Swing by Mattapan Teen Centert to make some exciting new crafts and have a place to hang out starting at 3:30-4:30.

Salsa in Franklin Park | August 15

Join FPC (Franklin Park Coalition) on August 15th from 5-7PM for some Salsa dancing! Their will be plenty of food trucks  and activities for the kids to enjoy! Join them at Walnut Ave & School Street (White Stadium front gate). It's going to be a fantastic time.
