Dorchester Speakers' Forum: Boston's Transportation Future | June 15
On June 15, 2012, the Dorchester Speakers' Forum will present: Boston's Transportation Future, A Panel Discussion with Fred Salvucci, Jeff Mullan, Shirley Delibero and Moderator Rick Dimino. The event is free, and will be held in Peabody Hall at All Saints Church in Dorchester, from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Fred Salvucci is a civil engineer specializing in transportation, with particular interest in infrastructure, urban transportation, public transportation,
and institutional development in decision making. Jeff Mullan has more than 25 years of experience working at the highest levels on transportation and redevelopment projects in Massachusetts and New England. Shirley DeLibero has spent the last 33 years in the transit industry. She started her career in her native Boston at the MBTA, where she served as project manager rehabilitating old PCC cars.
Past programs of the Dorchester Speakers Forum have included panel discussions about Corita Kent and Jane Jacobs, as well as talks with author Michael Patrick MacDonald, Labor Historian James Green, and Boston Globe columnist Lawrence Harmon.
