Mission:

Our mission is to strengthen the voice of low-income Latina women and to empower Latino families to participate more actively in the political, social and economic life not only of the Latino community, but also of society at large.

Mujeres Unidas en AcciOn (MUA) has been meeting the educational needs of low-income Latina women for nearly three decades, helping them build skills for full, self-sufficient lives. MUA’s mission is to provide a means for Latina women with limited education or English language skills to effect social, political, and liberating changes in their families, in their community, and consequently in society.
