How to Manage Arthritis with Walking Sep. 24

Join the Arthritis Foundation, Boston University, the Boston Black Ministerial Alliance, and Social Economic Status Related Cancer Disparities at Franklin Park on Saturday, September 24th for a FREE breakfast and seminar on walking and arthritis. The program will be the start of a walking initiative sponsored by a coalition of Boston churches. At the event, there will be rheumatologist Patricia Fraser, M.D. (Brigham and Women’s Hospital), exercise physiologist Marlene DaCosta, M.A.(Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center), Rev. David Wright (Boston Black Ministerial Alliance), and other experts discussing how and why walking helps control arthritis and the best way to walk.
