Green Codman Square! LEED-ND Charrette | Oct. 3

New England Ave - The Past

Green Codman Square! Make it walkable, workable, well-built and full of beautiful green spaces!

A new partnership between local organizations Codman Square NDC and Talbot Norfolk Triangle Neighbors United (TNTNU) and local and national agencies has been formed to unite the community around a vision of becoming a model sustainable urban neighborhood based on the best of LEED‐ND practices. The public is invited to take part in two evening planning sessions on October 1 and 3 that are part of a larger planning charette to bring an innovative design to the Talbot Norfolk Triangle area. These evening meetings will take place at the Great Hall in Codman Square (6 Norfolk St.) from 6 – 8 p.m. on Oct. 1 and 6:30 – 8 p.m. on Oct. 3. Talbot Norfolk Triangle Monthly Meeting | March 27 2012

The Talbot Norfolk Triangle Monthly Neighborhood Meeting of Tuesday, March 27 was held from 6:45 pm to 8:00 pm at 15 Elmhurst Street. The meeting began with refreshments and introductions, and an area B-3 police report. The meeting then moved to the Dorchester Court District Attorney Update. updates on court cases that directly impact the neighborhood. This gave the community an opportunity to ask questions about the community. The 2012 Community Improvement agenda was introduced Neighbors identified 41 items under the five priority areas (at bottom) that they had wanted to work together on during the next year. >> Read More

Talbot Norfolk Triangle Monthly Meeting Nov. 29

TNT LogoThe November Talbot Norfolk Triangle neighborhood meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 29, at 6:45 p.m. at a special location. The meeting will be held at Prayer Tower Apostolic Church, located at 151 Norfolk Street in Dorchester.  Join Talbot Norfolk and other neighborhood associations as the Codman Square Neighborhood Development Corporation shares their updated proposal for housing and commercial space on New England Avenue. Talbot-Norfolk Triangle Monthly Meeting Oct. 25

Talbot-Norfolk Triangle Neighbors United will host their next monthly meeting on Tuesday, October 25, from 6:45 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at 15 Elmhurst Street. At the meeting, you will have the chance to discuss recent crime in the neighborhood, the Millenium Ten Initiative, an Urban Farm Proposal, and more. Invite your neighbors! TNT Neighborhood Service Day, Oct. 8

On Saturday, October 8th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Talbot Norfolk Triangle will be hosting Neighborhood Service Day at 106 Norfolk Street, a community garden in-progress. Everyone is welcome, and lunch will be provided! Work will include: finishing construction of the raised beds, spreading mulch in the paths, planting trees. For more info, contact the Boston Project Ministries at: 617-929-0925.

Neighbors and youth are busy transforming this old house lot into a new community garden where children are able to learn about gardening. Construction began summer 2011 and will be completed in 2012. Plots will be available to grow fresh, local produce. One half of the plots are to be used by children and youth programs.

TNT Neighbors United meets the 4th Tuesday of every month (except December) at 6:45 pm at The Boston Project’s home (15 Elmhurst Street).

Mission: 
Talbot Norfolk Triangle (TNT) Neighbors United are residents (homeowners and renters) and local businesses working together to make our neighborhood a caring and thriving community for all through neighborhood actions and leadership development! We host monthly meetings bringing neighbors together along with the Boston Police, our elected officials, and local non-profits to discuss and take action on issues impacting our quality of life.
