BCS and Clermont Chorale Perform to Support IIIC | April 5

 

The Clermont Chorale and the Boston City Singers will present an evening of world music with a special combined performance in Gaelic. The event starts at 7:30pm and is located at St. Mark's Church (1725 Dorchester Ave). This is a special event to raise funds for the Irish International Immigrant Center (IIIC). All proceeds will support legal, wellness and education services for immigrants from Ireland and all around the world. Single Ticket: $15 ; Family Ticket: $25. To purchase tickets, call 617-542-7654. Come to the DCR Hatch Shell on August 27 for "Symphonic Shakespeare!" The show will start at 7pm and it is completely free! The performance will feature music and spoken word. Boston Landmarks Orchestra Performance | August 22

The Boston Landmarks Orchestra is performing on August 22 at 7pm! It takes place at the DCR Hatch Shell in Boston and admission is FREE! This performance will showcase some of the leading professional musicians in the city. The performance will include Schumann's Conzerstück who is a one-of-a-kind virtuosic thrill-ride for four solo horns and orchestra, Haydn's Sinfonia whose concertante combines virtuosity, lyricism and elegance of expression, and Mendelssohn's exuberant 'Italian' symphony is a musical memento of his tour to Italy and an orchestral tour-de-force. Waterfront Arts Series | August 21

Boston Opera Collaborative will be part of the Waterfront Arts Series on August 21 from 6pm to 7pm at the Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park in Boston. They will be followed by the Celtic band Tríne Chéile from 7pm to 8pm. Waterfront Arts Series | August 14

 

On August 14, from 6pm to 8pm, Boston Swing Central is hosting the Jazz Age Revival. The event is at Waterfront Park in Boston. The Jazz Age was a golden age and Boston Swing Central will try to recapture some of that spirit and energy. The event will start off with a free hour-long dance lesson. Annual Fundraising Concert | Sept. 9

New Life Boston presents its 17th annual fundraising concert. The concert will feature artists such as Hilamand Saint-Hillaire, Tibob pour Nazareth, Clara Pierre-Louis, and more! The concert will take place at 1102 Blue Hill Ave, Dorchester MA at 6:30pm. The donation is $20 ahead of time and $25 at the door (Children under 12 are $10).
