The Ciclopaseo in Quito, Ecuador, a 30km route closed to motorized traffic every week to allow space for cycling, walking, and other forms of transport, averages 40,000 participants each day it is held. Sally Sharrow, who helped out as an intern for Dot Bike this year, got a taste of the bicycle advocacy scene in Quito while studying abroad there last year. She will share her experiences working and riding with the people and organizations involved in making Quito una ciudad cicletera. This session takes place on Tuesday, August 16, at the William Devine Golf Course Clubhouse at Franklin Park (1 Circuit Drive, Boston) from 7 to 8:30 p.m. For more information, contact dotbike@bostonbiker.org, visit DotBike online or continue reading. >> Read More
