*Holiday Hours* The JFK Presidential Library and Museum will close at 1:00 p.m. on December 24, 2009 and will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Hours The Museum is open 7 days per week, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with the exception of New Year’s, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Our last Introductory Film of the day is at 3:55 p.m. The Research Room is open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by appointment only and is closed on weekends and federal holidays. The John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum is dedicated to the memory of our nation's thirty-fifth president and to all those who through the art of politics seek a new and better world. Located on a ten-acre park, overlooking the sea that he loved and the city that launched him to greatness, the Library stands as a vibrant tribute to the life and times of John F. Kennedy. Tour the Museum which portrays the life, leadership, and legacy of President Kennedy, conveys his enthusiasm for politics and public service, and illustrates the nature of the office of the President. Students and scholars can also arrange to conduct research using the collection of historical materials chronicling mid-20th century politics and the life and administration of John F. Kennedy.
