ADSL & UMass-Boston Athletics team up to host FREE Youth Baseball/Softball Clinic

All Dorchester Sports League (ADSL) & UMass-Boston athletics have teamed up to offer FREE youth baseball & softball clinic on Saturday, February 23, 2013 from 1:00-3:00 PM @ the Clark Athletic Center located at 100 Morrissey Boulevard in Dorchester.

Haiti and Black History Month @ UMass Boston Feb. 25

The Haitian Consulate in Boston invites you to celebrate the connection between Haiti and Black History Month in an event featuring panelists Virginius W. Thornton, State Representative Byron Rushing, and Dr. Peniel Joseph. On Saturday, February 25th, 2012 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the UMass Boston Campus Center Ballroom B. This is a free event! The 2nd Write on the DOT reading features an outstanding lineup of Dorchester writers presented by students in UMass-Boston's Creative Writing MFA Program sharing pieces in poetry and fiction. Readers includey Danielle Fontaine, Nathaniel Forsythe, Calvin Hennick, Sandra Kohler, Mitch Manning, and U-Meleni Mhlaba-Adebo.
