Men of Boston | Oct. 6

Codman Square Health Center will proudly present it's 19th annual fundraising event, Men of Boston Cook for Women's Health 2016, on Thursday evening October 6, 2016 to raise funds and awareness to improve women's health in our community. Each year more than 800 supporters gather under the Gala Tent at 637 Washington Street in Dorchester to enjoy delectable samplings from Boston's finest restaurants served by celebrity male chefs who represent a veritable "who's who" from Boston's business, political, entertainment, and hospitality worlds.

Come join the Transportation for Massachusetts & Fairmount Collaborative to discuss information technology, car-sharing, bike-sharing, ride-sourcing, on-demand micro-transit, and driverless cars!

Join the Boston Foundation for a neighborhood party, a special celebration of its 100th anniversary. Ride the indigo train!

Join public officials, performers, artists and community members, for a 'moving celebration" to light the bridges at five stations along the Fairmount/Indigo MBTA Line. Ride the Fairmount/Indigo Commuter Line FREE of charge and experience five community  celebrations.

CHAMPS Boston All-Girls Celebration, Sep. 24

CHAMPS BostonOn Saturday, September 24, CHAMPS Boston will be hosting an "All Girls Celebration of CHAMPS" which will include physical activity classes (hip hop dance, step, zumba, etc), healthy cooking demonstrations and a coaches clinics for the adult coaches/youth workers/chaperones who work with young girls. The event will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Holland Community Center; 85 Olney Street in Dorchester, MA. Any coaches interested in being trained or bringing in female participants, should alert CHAMPS in order to be added to the invitation list. The capacity is 200 participants (ages 8-16 years old).
