Summer Reading Series| July 13

Dot2Dot Cafe is hosting, along side  Dorchester Arts Collaborative, a  reading series this summer starting monday the 13th ! for children ages 0-7 starting July 13  

Age Groups have various times! make sure your kid is in for the right one!

0-3 (10-10:45am),

ages 4-7 (8:30-9:30am).

Kids will have journals to document their new vocaboulary and they will also be having "book chats" with special exciting visitors. Get your kid exctied about books early!

Book Club & Open Mic | May 29 and 30

Two exciting events are taking place at the Dot2Dot on May 29 and May 30!

On May 29 at 6:30pm, a book discussion of The Interestings by Meg Wolitzer will be hosted at Dot2Dot. Then, sit down for dinner at 7pm!

On May 30 at 6pm, an Open Mic will be hosted by the Boston School of Music Arts. Spoken word, comedy, mimes, and more! Dinner and music will then start at 7pm. A $10

Dot2Dot Cafe 5th Year Anniversary | May 31

 

Dot2Dot Cafe will be celebrating its 5th year anniversary on May 31. This celebration will include an Open Mic segment with great talent. Dot2Dot is hosting this evening of music, food and celebration in order to thank its supporters over the years. A set menu will be served (Adults $20, children $10) and there will be focus on dishes that have become a firm favorite over the past 5 years. Gaining Ground @ Dot2Dot | Feb. 22

February is Black History Month! Celebrate with a film and a buffet at Dot2Dot! The documentary, Gaining Ground: Building Community on Dudley Street, shows how young people, residents and community activists came together through the Dudley Street Neighborhood Initiative to create ways to develop the next generation of community leaders, provide affordable housing through the Dudley land trust and partner with the Salvation Army to bring Ray and Joan Kroc Community center to Dudley Street. This celebration will take place on February 22nd at 6:30pm, located at Dot2Dot Cafe (1739 Dorchester Ave). The film is free; full buffet is $10.
