NAACP Monthly Membership Meeting | July 27

Come join the NAACP today, July 27th at 6PM in their month meeting to discuss a variety of topics which may be affecting your community. They will be speaking about Boston 2024, Diversity Task Force as well as BPD's Social Justice Task Force. Dont let the chance to take a stand for your community and let your  voice be heard.

3rd Annual Boston NAACP Basketball Tournament | Nov. 8

Please come out and support the 3rd Annual Boston NAACP Basketball Tournament

 This is going to be a fun-filled community event with DJ Smoove, door prizes, along with a chance to sign up to become a volunteer for the NAACP Youth Works Committee. More importantly please come out to encourage and support the youth in Boston as they *Shoot to New Heights* ! All ages are welcomed to participate in the tournament.

NAACP Health Fair | October 26

Saturday, October 26 the Boston Branch NAACP Health Committee will present the Interactive Health Fair. There will be free Health Screenings, Meditations, information on HIV Awareness and more. Fair Housing Rights Workshop | April 30

The Boston Fair Housing Comission and the Boston NAACP Housing Comittee invite you to a Housing Discrimination Workshop. Some of the topics covered include history of Fair-Housing laws, advertising without discriminating, fair tenant selection practices and more. Who should attend: Rental Housing Property owners, Housing Providers, Housing Seekers, Community Leaders, Realtors & Agents and Housing Advocates. NAACP @ Mattapan Library for World AIDS Day Dec. 1

The Boston NAACP will be hosting a provocative discussion in conjunction with world AIDS Day 2011 on December 1, 2011 at the Mattapan Library from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. After 30 years of the HIV/AIDS epidemic, the disease continues to disproportionately affect the African-American community. The event will feature a special guest speaker, Mr. Phil Wilson, founder of Black AIDS Institute to discuss what you can do to help prevent additional HIV infections and AIDS related deaths.
