Financial Aid Night Jan. 17

On January 17, a representative from American Student Assistance will be here to explain the basics of FAFSA, different types of financial aid, and searching for scholarships! Opportunities for individual financial counseling and FAFSA completion will also be discussed. Meet at 7:00 p.m. at the Dorchester Boys & Girls Club McLaughlin Building, next to Dependable Cleaners on Dorchester Avenue at 1135 Dorchester Ave!

FAFSA Day 2012 Jan. 29

Do you need information about how to afford college? Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Day will be taking place in a number of locations around Greater Boston this January! FAFSA Day is an opportunity to get free help completing your FAFSA for the 2012 - 2013 school year. While there are many locations hosting this event in the greater area, in the Dorchester / Roxbury area O'Bryant School of Math & Science will be open for FAFSA Day. The school is located at 55 Malcolm X Blvd, Roxbury, MA 02119. The event will be happening on January 29, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Resources that will be available include: Computer Access, Online Filing and Spanish Translators.
