Fields Corner Public Safety Meeting October 15th. Come talk about your safety concerns with the Boston and MBTA Police, Public Officials, and residents.
This meeting is hosted by Fields Corner Main Street, Fields Corner CDC, CACA and Viet-Aid. 
Location: Viet-AID Center 42 Charles St., Dorchester 
Time: 6pm

Nail Salon Permit Assistance @ Viet-AID March 5

On Monday, March 5, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Receive one-on-one assistance from Viet-AID and Boston Public Health Commission staff will assist you with your nail salon permit application! Viet-AID is located at 42 Charles Street, Dorchester MA 02122. The event is part of the Safe Nail Salon Project.

You will need to bring:

Salon Use and Occupancy Permit from Boston Inspectional Services Department

Flammable Storage permit from Boston Fire Department

Salon license from Board of Cosmetology

Copies of cosmetology licenses for all persons working in the salon this year

Written description of ventilation system and plan for improving indoor air quality in the salon

A check for your permit fee

Dorchester Coalition for Great Neighborhoods Meeting Feb. 28

On Tuesday, February 28th, Dorchester Coalition for Great Neighborhoods is hosting a monthly public safety meeting from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. This month, the meeting will be held at the Lucerne Gardens Management Office at 65 Winston Road, Dorchester. The meeting will be hosted by Lucerne Gardens and Winn Management. Supt. Paul Joyce will be the guest speaker this month. It is one of the few daytime public safety meetings held in Dorchester open to all residents, businesses, and community organizations. Parking is on the street and light lunch will be provided!
