Fresh Fridays with the Dorchester Food Co-op | Every Friday in August

The Dorchester Community Food Co-Op needs 8 volunteers ( 1-2 people with vehicles) to help out at Fresh Fridays.  Volunteers with help buy fresh fruits the day befoe event, help set up and serve. on the day of. Fresh Fridays have live entertainment, recipes for new foods and activities for kids. Even if you can't volunteer come out and enjoy Fresh Fridays!

Food Co-Op Community Hub | July 13

Don't miss the grand opening of the beautiful new Bowdoin-Geneva Community Hub! The Sustainability Guild and numerous community volunteers have been working tirelessly to creative a vibrant and welcoming space for neighbors to connect, relax, learn, teach, play and share. Programs will include workshops on health, fitness, healthy eating, movement, art and culture. This grand opening will take place from 11am to 3pm on July 13. Dorchester Winter Farmers Market

The Dorchester Community Food Coop is supporting the second season of the Dorchester Winter Farmers Market! The Market will be open  from 12pm to 4pm at the Codman Square Great Hall (Corner of Washington Street and Talbot Ave). This year will have more vendors than last year!
The Farmer’s Market runs every Sunday from January 6th to March 24th. The market also features music, food trucks and children’s activities. SNAP participants and EBT cards are welcome and accepted.

Food Co-Op Holiday Party | Dec. 17

 

The Dorchester Community Food Coop Annual Meeting and Holiday Party will take place on December 17 from 6pm to 8pm. The event will take place at Restaurante Cesaria (266 Bowdoin Street in Dorchester). Don't miss these delicious appetizers! The meeting will discuss topics such as accomplishments of the past year, healhy food systems in Dorchester, upcoming plans, and more!

Fresh Fridays! A Global Fusion of Taste and Sound | Aug. 3 - Sep. 14

The Dorchester Community Food Co-op and the Sustainability Guild International present an exciting series of Friday night events August through September. These event will be "nutritious nights out" featuring savory food and beverages, live music, slam poetry, activities for kids, local community chefs and cooking demos. Help celebrate the essence of Dorchester through diverse voices, talents and flavors!

Fresh Fridays! A Global Fusion of Taste and Sound's opening night was August 3 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the First Parish Church (10 Parish Street, Dorchester) and the event series continues until September 14.  View a flyer here. Complete Schedule of Events after the break!
