Rebuilding Together Boston (RTB) to Repair Homes and Community Center During National Rebuilding Month

Rebuilding Together Boston (RTB) will host more than 200 volunteers to repair nine (9) properties in Dorchester and Mattapan at no cost to the homeowners as part of Rebuilding Together’s National Rebuilding Month. Partnering with the Codman Square NDC, Red Cross and other agencies, RTB’s 2018 NRD recipients of critical repairs and updates include eight (8) homeowners in the Dorchester and Mattapan neighborhoods of Boston as well as a multi-service center in Mattapan. >> Read More

Bike Union Volunteer Night | April 15

We're expanding into a new space!

This Wednesday evening the Bike Union will be preparing our new office space for our imminent move, as well as sending letters to our lovely members! 

We need all the hands we can get to help clean out the new space, begin moving furniture from our current office (only 2 doors away) and send lots of letters! 

As always, your help will be fueled by pizza and beer courtesy of the Bike Union! Plus, you'll get a sneak peek at the cool new office.

Feel free to invite friends, family, and fellow bikers. The more the merrier!

Fresh Fridays with the Dorchester Food Co-op | Every Friday in August

The Dorchester Community Food Co-Op needs 8 volunteers ( 1-2 people with vehicles) to help out at Fresh Fridays.  Volunteers with help buy fresh fruits the day befoe event, help set up and serve. on the day of. Fresh Fridays have live entertainment, recipes for new foods and activities for kids. Even if you can't volunteer come out and enjoy Fresh Fridays!

charitable work? We will consider motivation, from the benefits of
volunteering to our needs and the effort required to manage/support
volunteers. No prior knowledge expected—We'll start with fundamentals.
