All thirty-six Historic New England sites offer free tours on Saturday, June 6, as part of our annual Open House. Presented on the first Saturday of each June, Open House is a great way to take a journey through New England's past. Discover architecture, landscapes, and collections that tell the story of life in our region over four centuries.

Country in the City History Tour | October 6

Sunday, October 6th 10:00am, Join a National Olmsted Historic Site ranger for a history tour of Franklin Park. You’ll learn about the early designs and plans of Frederick Law Olmsted, renowned park architect, who built the park in the 1880s. See beautiful views, old stone ruins, and the picturesque home of migrating birds, Scarboro Pond. Meet at the Resting Place (Shattuck Picnic Grove). This event id free and is open to the public.
