Baby Diaper Bank | July 2

If you are a parent of a baby and you cannot afford diapers, the Baby Diaper Bank may be for you. The Baby Diaper Bank seeks to meet the needs of income challenged parents to make sure that they have clean diapers for their babies. The Baby Diaper Bank will be here on the first Saturday of every month. Drop in to see if you qualify for this invaluable community service.

When: Saturday July 2, 2016, 1 – 3 P.M.

The Mind Matters: Families Make A Difference

Boston Public Schools (BPS) Parent University believes that every BPS family is equipped and empowered to advocate and partner with schools to ensure every child has access to a quality education and achieves excellence in school. Parent University will be hosting workshops that provide educational resources and community support for families with children ages 3-8 to help foster learning at home. This is a 10 session workshop series and participation is free. Families will be able to learn strategies for how to foster your child's development and learning at home and in school. These sessions will include hands on activities, mini lectures and videos. This program was developed by Harvard University and is based on cutting edge brain research on children's social, emotional, and intellectual growth. St. Brendan Playgroup | November 18

Monday October28 at 10am St. Brendan will host a playgroup with games, crafts, stories and songs. This play group meets every monday during the school year from 10am -12pm at the Saint Brendan's Church Father Lane Hall 589 Gallivan Blvd. Ages for this playgroup is 5 and under (caregivers must attend)
