Sign up for DRAMA Camp!

Uphams Corner Drama Camp Summer Urban Missions Experience application available NOW!

DRAMA Camp is a part-day program for children entering grades 2-8.  We start at 9am with breakfast, followed by two and a half hours of lessons, dramatic exercises, and play practice, finishing around noon.  We seek to promote peaceful problem solving and applying biblical principles in a practical day-to-day context through dramatization.  This year we are creating a curriculum that will use the creative responses of the campers to build a play around issues of identity and esteem.  On Fridays, we have field trips to venues throughout the Boston area.  We are hoping to include:  the Frog Pond, the Franklin Park Zoo, the Harbor Islands, a local urban farm, and the Children’s Museum.

"DRAMA Camp is committed to supporting the spiritual formation and personal development of neighborhood youth through employment."
