Filmmaker Ben Pender-Cudlip is holding a party in Dorchester to support his new film, "Dawnland."
Dawnland tells the fascinating story behind Maine's policy through the 1980s to take Native American children from their homes and place them with white families -- and the state's recent efforts to atone.
Come chat with Ben and hear about the 50,000 miles he's put on the car in the last few years and what he's learned along the way.
When: Sun, April 24 11-pm
Where: 13 Bruce Street Dorchester, MA 02124
