Got cabin fever? Get out of the house and come color with Fields Corner Branch. Coloring has been proven to be relaxing and meditative for all ages while also providing an outlet for creative expression. Join them in the community room to color and drink some homemade hot chocolate and tea.

Story Walk Kick Off | Nov 7

Meet at the Fields Corner Branch to make pinecone turkeys and have a snack after completing the Story Walk. The walk starts at Home.stead Bakery & Cafe, located at 1448 Dorchester Avenue (at the intersection of Dorchester Avenue and Adams Street). 

There will be a raffle for a $25 Stop and Shop Gift Card. After completing the story, don't forget to let them know how much you liked the walk. Fill out a survey to earn FCCT points and be entered in to a raffle for one of six $10 Target Gift Card. Winners will be announced November 23rd. 

The Story Walk will run from Saturday, November 7th through Sunday, November 29th. Please dress warmly as this is an outdoor event!

Leap into Literacy Storytime | June 11

The Leap Into Literacy Story Time Team will be welcoming summer with fun stories, songs and giggles, lots of wiggles, and a free book for each family that comes!  We will also have a drawing for some play-filled prizes! This story time is for young children under the age of 5 and their favorite adult caregiver.  Rain or shine, we plan to have a great time!  See you there!

Dot-ini 2014, the X-Tini, is happening November 6th from 7PM to 10 PM at The Blarney Stone celebrate our tenth annual with world-famous Master of Ceremonies (and neighbor!) RYAN LANDRY, have a great time AND support Fields Corner Main Street!
Our signature annual event “Martinis on the Avenue” started in 2005 as a joint fundraising event by Fields Corner Main Street and St. Mark’s Area Main Street to highlight the organizations’ efforts revitalizing their adjoining business districts on Dorchester Avenue. Nicknamed the “Dot-ini” the event is now run by Fields Corner Main Street and is one of THE highlights of Dorchester’s autumn social season. The Fields Corner Civic Association regularly meets the first Tuesday of the month, however, because of the General Election, the November meeting of the Fields Corner Civic Association (FCCA) has been rescheduled for Monday, November 10th at 7:00 PM. 

The general meeting will be held in the Ditson Street Senior Housing Complex located at 25 Ditson Street on the first floor.
