The police commissioner will be at the next meeting of Fields Corner Community Action Network. Please try to attend this meeting, especially if you are part of a community organization (or send a representative from the organization). Fields Corner Neighborhood Improvement Walk | April 19

Tour of Fields Corner! | Nov. 2

MAPC's MetroFuture 'Walks & Talks" presents a walking tour of Fields Corner! The tour will include the history of Fields Corner, the diversity of the cultures, and MAPC's collaborative projects in the community. Fields Corner Clean up and Bulb Planting Day | Oct. 27

Help make a difference this Saturday by planting bulbs at Fields Corner. Join other community members to clean up the sidewalks and plant bulbs for next Spring.

Ditson Street Block Party | August 18

All are invited to the Ditson Street Block Party! The event is on August 18. 2012, on Ditson Street between Charles and Westville Street. Join Close to Home and Freeport Adams Civic Association for for food, music, face painting, raffle prizes, information tables, special guests, and a whole lot more! Bring a chair with you. Five Streets Association Monthly Meeting | March 28 2012

The Five Streets Monthly Meeting on March 28th joined forces with the Fields Corner Development Corporation and the Department of Transportation to address issues of traffic and parking on Geneva Ave. Residents are concerned with a number of issues on the avenue. Residents would like to see stoplights at different intersections that have a high volume of traffic. Residents are also concerned with issues of parking on the avenue. There is a large number of delivery trucks that park outside of bodegas and stores on the avenue, which often obstruct parking for cars, and importantly buses that travel along the avenue. Traffic is not regularly monitored on the avenue, making illegally and inconveniently parked cars more common. >> Read More
