Greater Four Corners Action Coalition Presents: A Beacon of Hope for 25 years: Turning Dreams To Action. Free event for all ages, live performances, fun activities, yummy food and live music.

Four Corners Tree Lighting & Holiday Celebration | December 7

Saturday, December 7 between 1-4pm the Greater Four Corners Action Coalition, Four Corners Main Street & Greenwood Memorial  United Methodist Church will host their Tree lighting & Holiday Celebration.

There will be Light refreshments, live music, entertainment, fun activities the whole family will enjoy, including... A visit from SANTA!!!

Invited speakers will be Mayor Marty Walsh and other politicians

Greater Four Corners Action Coalition (GFCAC) invites the community to their 2013 Annual Meeting and Final Planning Charrette on Thursday, September 19, 2013 from 6:00 - 9:00. The meeting will be held at Greenwood Memorial United Methodist Church - 378A Washington Street, Dorchester. Meet your neighbors and local business owners, and become an active member in your community. Childcare will be provided and dinner will be served

A Social Tea Event | June 16

Join Greater Four Corners Action Coalition for a great fundraiser! The organization is hosting a Social Tea at the Great Hall on June 16th. Join for tea, treats, music, and conversation! Erie-Ellington Neighborhood Association Meeting | March 26, 2012

The Erie-Ellington Neighborhood Association Meeting was held on Monday, March 26, 2012 at the Erie-Ellington Community Room located at 31 Erie Street, (located at the corner of Merrill & Erie Streets). Light refreshments were served, and attendees helped themselves to iced tea and Domino's Pizza. Marilyn Forman of Codman Square Neighborhood Development Corporation facilitated the meeting, which began with updates from B-3 area. Residents are encouraged to call 911 if they hear a house party, and to let someone know if it is a chronic problem. Dynell Andrews-Blake provided information about the work that Four Corners Main Streets does in the community. The organization supports the business district. >> Read More

Greater Chamberlain Association Meeting | March 19 2012

The March Greater Chamberlain Association Meeting was held at 35 Chamberlain Street, the house of Ms. Butler, a longtime resident and member of the association. The meeting began with crime reports, which included few notable occurances. A resident's home was broken into while he was away for three days. An announcement was made about an Advisory Crime Meeting on Wednesday, March 21, 2012. The meeting is to be held at the Joseph Lee School at 155 Talbot Ave. in Dorchester at 5:30 p.m. The rest of the meeting was spent discussing a Millenium 10 grant update. GFCAC Protest Against Foreclosure Jan. 31

On Tuesday, January 31, 2012 Greater Four Corners Action Coalition, in partnership with City Life, is looking for community members to come out for a protest against foreclosure in the Dorchester community. The "Stop this Auction" action will be held in front of 40 Fowler Street in Dorchester, a property recently foreclosed on twice, in support of a tenant about to be evicted. The property is set to be auctioned off at 10:00 a.m. - show your support and assemble at 9:30 a.m. in front of 40 Fowler Street to gain support and attention for this issue!

GFCAC Workshop Nov. 9

On November 9, Greater Four Corners Action Coalition will be hosting a Homeowners' Tenants Rights Workshop After Foreclosure. There will also be a discussion about Transit Justice after the Tenants Rights Discussion. The workshop will be presented in Spanish with English translation.
