1st Annual Open House Wreath Stroll | Dec 4

The Elsie Frank Walk | Sept. 28

The Elsie Frank Walk for Kit Clark Senior Services will take place on September 28 from 8am to 11am at Pope John Paul II Park in Dorchester. Elsie was a passionate champion for elders. She served as President of the Massachusetts Association of Older Americans and was a delegate to President Clinton's White House Council on Aging. The Elsie Frank Walk offers the option of walking a 2k, 4k or 6k route. All participants, including those who choose not to walk, are invited to join in the celebration! Stop the Cuts | April 16

The Budget for All coalition is protesting outside the Kit Clark Senior Center (1500 Dorchester Ave) on April 16 at 11am. The protest will be  against the devastating cuts in Meals on Wheels, Head Start, Section 8 housing, Ryan White housing funds, and many other federal programs. For more info, call 617-282-3783.

Meals on Wheels 5K Road Race and 2K Walk, Sep. 24

Please join Kit Clark Senior Services’ for their 6th Annual Meals on Wheels 5K Road Race and 2K Walk in honor of Elsie Frank at DCR’s Pope John Paul II Park at Gallivan Boulevard in Dorchester on September 24.  Kit Clark’s Meals on Wheels and Elderly Nutrition Programs deliver more than 2,000 meals every day to elders in the Dorchester area. Since 1974, Kit Clark Senior Services has been committed to helping our community's older adults live with dignity and independence. Founded in response to the Federal Older Americans Act, Kit Clark has grown to offer over 30 programs at over 40 locations in Greater Boston. In order to better serve the community, our professionally staffed multi-service agency conducts many of its programs in five different languages, ensuring these much needed support services reach elders with diverse ethnic backgrounds.
