Join Boston Shines on Saturday, May 3 for a Ronan Park Clean Up and Raffle. Join your neighbors for the annual Boston Shines Ronan Park Clean Up. T-shirts, gloves, and tools for cleaning the park will be provided. Volunteers should meet at the flagpole in the park to receive their assignments. Each volunteer that participates will receive a free raffle ticket for a brand new iPod shuffle! The park cleanup will take place from 9 am until Noon followed by refreshments and the raffle from Noon until 1 pm.
Join the Dorchester Community Food Co-op to help spruce up the Community Hub space located at the corner of Bowdoin and Topliff Streets. The co-op uses this pace for their summer activities, including their Fresh Friday Community Supported Cafe in August. Come meet new neighbors and see those you haven’t seen all winter while helping plant, paint, clean, and weed.
Following the Kite & Art Festival on June 28th, Friends of Ronan Park is hosting a meeting at the Bowdoin Street Health Center on July 1st from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. The Friends of Ronan Park present a Kite & Art Festival on June 28 from 10am to 1pm at Ronan Park in Dorchester. Fly kites, make art, meet neighbors and have fun! Make sure you arrive early - the first 25 kites are free! This event will include FREE food and drinks. Email Friends of Ronan Park for more info... The movie "Madagascar" was chosen for the next movie night. Visit Ronan Park at 8pm on August 17 to watch the movie under the stars. Free snacks and drinks will be provided while they last. At the end of the movie, one lucky raffle winner will recieve the "Madagascar" DVD. Make sure you bring something to sit on! For more info, visit 
On Friday, June 22, the Friends of Ronan Park will be hosting a Family Festival! Celebrate summer in your local park with neighbors and a variety of fun activities.
